The Sumner G. Whittier School celebrates the diversity of our students and engages our families through feedback, dialogue and support. We promote academic excellence by teaching critical thinking skills and celebrating student achievement.

 

All lessons are driven by on-grade level standards, with just-in-time scaffolds for all students to access and engage in the content. Students learn technological skills that provide them with a foundation for success in high school and beyond. We support our learners with social-emotional programs that educate the whole child, while developing citizenship, connections to our community, and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
